Hello Steck Community!
My name is Suzan Ervin and I am the 5th-grade math and science teacher. This fall will be my 5th year in 5th grade at Steck!! I’m so excited to meet our new 5th graders and help them grow and prepare for the big transition to middle school. I am excited to continue the traditions that retired teacher Paige Dersham brought to Steck – Ballarat, Challenger Center, Young Ameritowne, Stem Lab, Mighty Scoop Noodle & the Bucket Challenge! All of these activities are part of the 5th-grade experience here at Steck and we look forward to sharing them with you students.
When I’m not at school, I’m spending time with my family. I have two amazing daughters, Sarah who is at Clemson University working on her Master’s in Accounting, and Laura who will be a Freshman at the University of Tennessee this fall. And, we are all fortunate to have this amazing man in our life, my husband, and their dad, Bryan. Together we are Team Ervin!
