Hello families!
My name is Mrs. Emmerich and I am one of the first grade teachers at Steck Elementary. Next school year will be my third year here and my fifth year teaching first grade overall. Prior to Steck, I lived in Northeast Ohio where I graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. First grade has easily become my favorite grade level because I love teaching spelling patterns and watching my students grow as readers as they learn them too. In my free time I love to hike with my two amazing dogs, Izzy and Ava, camp, mountain bike and read. I can’t wait to meet my upcoming students and guide them through their next school year here at Steck!
