I moved to Colorado in June of 1993 to marry my wife Lisa. We met in graduate school in Boston, but the long gray winters brought us back to her home state of sunny Colorado. I began teaching in Denver Public Schools in 1994. I taught 3rd grade at Stedman Elementary for five years, 5th grade at Park Hill for seven years and have been at Steck ever since. (Thought I’d give you a real world math problem to determine how long I’ve been teaching and how long I’ve been at Steck!) I am definitely a dog person and enjoy spending time with my two Norwich terriers, ZiZi and Zuli. I also enjoy reading, music, sports and cooking.
