The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) is an elected body of community representatives, parents, teachers and staff who work together to provide for the short and long term direction of the school. The CSC determines school policies, develops the School Improvement Plan, approves the budget and makes a variety of decisions that affect the school. In addition, sub-committees may include non-CSC memebers that are under the direction of the CSC. These committees include the Personnel Subcommittee, Technology Committee, and Character Education, as well as other committees created to address special areas of need. CSC meetings are held once a month and are open for anyone to attend unless otherwise specified. Elections for the CSC are held in the spring. CSC members serve 2 years and each year the CSC has 4 new members, 2 teachers and 2 parents. We will be asking for nominees to replace 2 parents this year. More details will be made available in the Friday folder.
The CSC meets the third Tuesday of the month at 3:30pm in the Teacher’s Lounge, Room 106.
