Steck Elementary School is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) through fifth grade neighborhood school. It sits in the heart of Denver's Hilltop community. Major cross streets are 6th Ave. and Colorado Blvd. The school population is delightfully diverse both economically and culturally. Steck's proximity to the University of Colorado Hospital, the Rose Medical Center, and the VA Medical Center means parents from various parts of the city, as well as parents from far away countries, choose to send their children to this small, friendly, family-oriented elementary school. Class size at Steck has consistently been 25 or less for the last several years.
