This has quickly become an annual event that everyone looks forward to! Each year the PTA turns Steck into a haunted manor complete with Ghouls and Goblins. Please join us on October 27th from 4:30 to 8 pm. Events and Activities for Younger Children from 4:30-6 and Older Students from 6-8pm. Come in costume and don’t forget to bring your kid’s carved pumpkin for the pumpkin carving contest and pumpkin choir. Kevin Mercado is heading up this event again this year and I know he is looking for room decorators and other helpers. Look for additional information on the Haunting in the weeks to come. There are many ways to volunteer for this event; we’re looking for help with setup, teardown, and everything in between. Most importantly, we need creative people that would like to be in charge of a room in the manor. In years past we have had vampires, graveyards, a collapsed mine, and even a dance party. We have a limited number of rooms available to decorate, so don’t wait to get started! We are open to just about any idea that is appropriate for elementary students. We can also provide ideas, if you need some help.
