Costume Parade and Parties The Costume parade will begin at 2:15p.m. on October 31th. Weather permitting; Halloween treats will be set up by table on the West Playground blacktop. If the weather is not favorable, treat tables will be moved to the classroom.
Halloween Costumes Please send simple costumes that the students can put on themselves. For the parade, we are asking parents to assemble in the gym to meet fire codes and ensure space for all. Elaborate costumes are to be reserved for the Steck Haunting and trick or treating. Please remember that no weapons, or any replicas are allowed at school for any event, per DPS district policy.
Costume Parade Route Parents and guests, please enter the gym from the outside gym door on the West Playground. Students will be parading through the gym and then on to the playground for snacks. Due to fire regulations, we are required to keep our hallways clear. The parade will start with first grade, followed by Kindergarten, then ECE, then Fourth grade, followed by Second grade, followed by Third grade, and finishing off with Fifth grade.
